How to Install & Activate Your eSIM on Android
Before installing your GlobalGo eSIM, make sure your Android phone supports eSIM and is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. Menu names and setup screens may vary depending on your phone manufacturer and Android version.
Before You Start
Confirm that your exact Android model and regional version support eSIM.
Connect your phone to a reliable Wi-Fi network during installation.
Have your GlobalGo confirmation email and eSIM activation details ready.
Install Your eSIM Using a QR Code
Scanning the QR code included with your GlobalGo eSIM is usually the simplest installation method on a compatible Android phone.
Open Your SIM Settings
Open Settings and find your phone's SIM or mobile network settings. Depending on your device, this may appear under Network & Internet or Connections.
Add a New eSIM
Select Add eSIM, Add SIM, or Add Mobile Plan. The exact wording depends on your device.
Scan Your GlobalGo QR Code
Use the QR code provided with your GlobalGo order confirmation. Some Android phones may also allow you to select a QR code image saved on your device.
Confirm the Installation
Follow the instructions shown on your phone and select Add, Download, or Confirm when prompted.

QR Code Installation
1. Open Settings → Network & Internet.
2. Open the SIMs section and choose the option to add a SIM.
3. Select the option to set up or download an eSIM.
4. Scan your GlobalGo QR code when prompted.
5. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
QR Code Installation
1. Open Settings → Connections.
2. Tap SIM Manager or SIM Card Manager.
3. Tap Add eSIM or Add Mobile Plan.
4. Choose the QR code installation option.
5. Scan the GlobalGo QR code and follow the prompts to finish.
Install Your eSIM Manually
If you cannot scan the QR code, you may be able to install your GlobalGo eSIM using the manual activation information provided with your order.
Use the SM-DP+ address provided with your GlobalGo eSIM.
Enter the activation code exactly as provided with your order.
General Manual Setup
1. Open your SIM or mobile network settings.
2. Select the option to add a new eSIM or mobile plan.
3. Look for an option such as Enter Code Manually, Enter Details Manually, or similar.
4. Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code exactly as provided with your GlobalGo eSIM.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
After Installation: Check Your Mobile Data Settings
Once your eSIM has been installed, check your mobile data settings before connecting.
Make sure your new GlobalGo eSIM is switched on.
Select the GlobalGo eSIM as the SIM used for mobile data.
Enable Data Roaming for the GlobalGo eSIM when required by your plan instructions.
Avoid unexpected roaming charges: if you keep your primary SIM active while travelling, make sure it is not selected for mobile data and review its Data Roaming settings. You do not necessarily need to disable your primary line completely if you still need it for calls or SMS.
Your GlobalGo eSIM Is Ready
Once your eSIM is installed and correctly configured, your phone can connect to a supported mobile network according to your plan's activation conditions and local network coverage.
